Mobile Learning
Do you know you have a computer in your pocket?
That’s right! Your cell phone or smartphone can be used for mobile learning.
What is mobile learning?
Mobile learning is using a portable device such as a cell phone, tablet or laptop computer to learn. You can use your device to learn English, improve reading and math skills, or do activities to prepare for college or a new job.
Resources you can use to learn include:
- Videos
- Learning Apps
- Online Courses
- Audio Files such as Podcasts
- or a combination of all of the above!
PPL is not just a library, it's a door for opportunities. After first taking basic online computer classes and then after given a chance to volunteer, I eventually was hired by the Library. PPL gave me that chance, that start that I needed to change not just my life, my work style, but to change peoples' lives.
