PPL’s Teen Services presented “Community Partnerships and Workforce Development: Learning and Earning at the Library” at the American Library Association Midwinter Conference. Teen Educator Kate Aubin and Teen Librarian Mireille Sturmann spoke about PPL’s Teen Squad programming that prepares youth to be successful in life after high school and showed a teaser of the Teen Squad resources database and the dissemination videos the team has created to share their work with other libraries. The development of PPL’s Teen Squad was made possible by a three-year Institute of Museum and Library Services National Leadership Grant.
