Set design for The Skin of Our Teeth

I referred to illustrations in a 19th/ early 20th century periodical called The Cabinet Maker while setting the stage for this production of The Skin of Our Teeth by Thornton Wilder, directed by Josh Short at the Wilbury Theatre Group. Drawings of molding, window treatments, and bookshelves gave me ideas for the surface treatment of a surreal, campy black and white house. I even enlarged some of the shelving I found and collaged it into our environment!
