This pirate map-themed poster was inspired by illustrations in The history of the buccaneers of America; from their first original down to this time ; written in several languages ; and now collected into one volume (1698) by A. O. Exquemelin, and created using a smattering of type, cuts, and a decorative pattern from an 1896 American Type Founders Co. type specimen book.
