Foundation Collection

The Foundation Collection at PPL is the RI depository of the Foundation Center in New York.

The collection consists of books, both reference and circulating, annual reports.

Also available are two important Foundation Center databases (available only at the Central library's Reference Department): the Platinum version of the Foundation Directory online offers comprehensive information on over 80,000 grantmakers and over 500,000 associated grants. Foundation Grants to Individuals devoted exclusively to foundations that fund individuals.

Information about foundations includes guidelines for eligibility, application deadlines and lists of previous recipients with the amount awarded. Materials also cover fund raising, proposal writing and management of non-profit orgnaizations.

Individual orientations are available by appointment by calling the Reference Services Department at 401-455-8005.

The Foundation Collection is available during regular Library hours.
